This is the perfect tea for all the huckleberry lovers out there. A bold black tea that is balanced by the tangy sweetness of huckleberry. Rosehips and raspberry leaves add a touch of floral to balance out this tea. Enjoy hot or iced, with a bit of honey and cream for a tea that borders on dessert.
To make the perfect cup of Doc Holiday tea, you will want to use 1 teaspoon of tea leaves for each 8-ounce cup. For an optimal flavor experience, bring the water to about 185°F. This is important, as rosehip is delicate and will become quite bitter if it is steeped in water that is too hot. If you do not have an electric tea kettle with a temperature setting, bring your kettle to a full boil, then remove it from the heat and let the water sit for a moment before steeping the tea. Some people enjoy Doc Holiday tea with a short 1-minute steep, while others prefer the stronger flavors of a 3-minute steep. We recommend capping the steep time at 3 minutes to avoid a bitter taste.
Each glass jar contains roughly 2 oz of loose-leaf tea, depending on density of the tea it may be slightly less or slightly more. Each jar contains enough tea to make 10 strong cups or 15 standard cups of tea. Contains Caffeine.
